Shopping was never Arthur's specialty, nor would it ever. He made decisions as a king about strategy, the welfare of the kingdom, how to deal with threats, and whether men would live or die. They were difficult, but he had learned to not doubt his own instincts. His uncle had bred into him self-doubt and he'd had to quell it.
But this was a difficult choice. Standing and blocking an aisle in the grocery, Arthur was torn between... well, everything. Canned soup was supposed to be easy, after all. At least, he had gathered that from watching others in the kitchen here. A bit of soup in a pot and you heat it up. Unfortunately he had no idea what sort of soup he'd even like. Most of these were types he'd never had before. He was self aware enough, at least, to realize nearly immediately he was blocking someone's path.
He immediately stepped aside, but fumbled at a quick apology as he caught sight of her. It was a woman, but she was tall, nearly eye level with him. And though he'd seen some wild hair in his time here, he'd never seen it in more than one shade. To his credit, he recovered quickly with a vague gesture to continue on her way. "My apologies for blocking the way. I suppose it's a bit narrow through here."
That's why stores were meant to be out in the open, on busy streets.
