I found several varieties of walking stick, quarterstaff, and every other kind of stick the size of a person, and not a single one of them was my staff.

It was a silly thing to hope for- my staff had been destroyed when my car was- but dammit, if they could take stuff from any time, they could take my staff before it was destroyed, dammit.
