[Today Molly Carpenter is in your community buildings, exploring the floors and kitchens and opening (hopefully unoccupied!) random doors. Why is she doing this? She's not quite settled that Community Building Six is the best place for her and Harry to be, so far away from town, and collect evidence to present her case. Also - hey, strolling down someone's apartment corridor could be a great way to meet people!

And secretly, she's looking for thresholds. It makes sense that there aren't any here - five years, at most, being kept in a place against your will - could that even form a threshold? She didn't know, but it was so terribly contrary to her understanding of magic that she had to investigate.

Hi! So. Sorry if anyone bothered with that. I'm trying to get the hang of this "filtering" thing but it's just not like anything I've ever done before. If a couple wouldn't mind putting up some really low, easy filters in this post against me, I'd really appreciate it. That way I could try to sort of... learn it backwards? Thanks.

"So noted," she said with a smile and sip of the remains of her mead. "At least the weather's warming up, if you decide to stay there."

Sharpe wondered how much warmer it would get in this place. The weather reminded him a little bit of northern Spain. Not quite so wicked as Yorkshire.

"I suppose choosing a room somewhere makes it feel a bit too...real."

She glanced down at the bar.

"It's a lot to take in."

But denying things never made them any better.

And then he looked at her. "Present company excluded."

That familiar feeling of vague guilt at hiding struck in full force. She shrugged a little, "I don't know. I might be a little more peculiar than you give me credit for."

She couldn't out and out tell him, not without letting Harry know, but... No one said she wasn't allowed to feel him out for hints of how he'd take it.

Hmm. 'Feel him out...'

No. Bad Molly.

Ahahahahahahaaha. Ha. Okay, her immediate response to that told her that maybe this alcohol was effecting her inhibitions a little too much and that probably meant it was time to go.

She takes one last drink from her nearly-empty glass and then grins at him. "A woman's got to have her secrets, Richard. Thanks for the drink."

And she slides off the bar stool.
