[Today Molly Carpenter is in your community buildings, exploring the floors and kitchens and opening (hopefully unoccupied!) random doors. Why is she doing this? She's not quite settled that Community Building Six is the best place for her and Harry to be, so far away from town, and collect evidence to present her case. Also - hey, strolling down someone's apartment corridor could be a great way to meet people!

And secretly, she's looking for thresholds. It makes sense that there aren't any here - five years, at most, being kept in a place against your will - could that even form a threshold? She didn't know, but it was so terribly contrary to her understanding of magic that she had to investigate.

Later in the day, a series of filters starting at 5 and not working their way up past 15 percent will appear in the journal followed by a voice post.]

Hi! So. Sorry if anyone bothered with that. I'm trying to get the hang of this "filtering" thing but it's just not like anything I've ever done before. If a couple wouldn't mind putting up some really low, easy filters in this post against me, I'd really appreciate it. That way I could try to sort of... learn it backwards? Thanks.

At least my afternoon has the possibility of excitement. They might all be identical so far, but who knows what I could find when I open up the next door?

She laughs a little again and shakes her head before placing her hand over her eyes.]

Well, how could I fail to take someone up on such a generous offer?

[Mocking? Never. Okay, maybe a little, but a lot of the shine of meeting King Arthur wore off after their little kitchen adventure. Right now, he was just some random guy named Arthur... at least in part because it was a lot easier to deal with that way. The dissonance was easier to align to, for Molly, if she did it in jumps and spurts and waited.]

I'm just about finished with this building - I start at the top.

I'd say you are finished with this building. Every other room on the floor is full. How many buildings do you have left?

[That's a lot of stairs, but he'll deal. He needs the exercise.]

[Really? Curses. That's exactly the sort of thing she needs to be checking out. Oh well, maybe she can shake him with the prospect of what she has left. Molly pulls out her journal.]

Um, let's see... it looks like I still have to do Community Building 1, 2, and 3.

Over halfway done, then. Good, this shouldn't be hard at all.

Not hard, maybe, but tedious. You can feel free to quit any time you like.

[It's okay, though, she's got this.]

I didn't become a knight by shirking any task that was hard or tedious. [Unless it involved something menial of course.] I covered more ground than that when having to do a search of the castle. [... to look for sorcerers usually.]

All right, then if you're going to come with me, you have to agree to two conditions. One - if we do run into trouble, you let me try to talk to them before you pull out your sword.

Really? I'd hoped I'd just get to stab whatever jumped out at us and we'd sort it out after.

You're the one who's bored. I'm the one who's checking to make sure she's not taking a quick-draw swordsman along for the ride.
